Why It Is Necessary To Build Teamwork In Order To Grow Your Dream Business
Attraction marketing these days is all about relationship building. Gone are the days when people would buy from you whether they knew or liked you or not. There are just too many unscrupulous people out there and too many innocents (and not so new marketers) who have been let down by them.
That's why the concept of attraction marketing has become so popular, it's about creating relationships, giving something of yourself that is valuable to others.
We all have something to offer, you simply need to identify which of your talents you are comfortable sharing and this will tell you which niche to center on. Apart from anything else however, you need to continually improve your communication skills. A huge amount of our personal communications are based on non-verbal aspects and these are almost totally absent or eliminated from written or audio communications.
It is extremely important to bear this in mind when you are working on building relationships with your referrals.
You are not going to be able to delight everybody on every occasion as that old saying goes, but you absolutely can work hard on growing and showing (or being) yourself when you write to them.
Develop yourself by placing others first. Think about what it was that you looked for most when you were in their situation and then share that with them (for free, well at least in exchange only for their email address and maybe phone number lol).
Reveal yourself by learning to let your natural self shine through your writing, be meaningful, think it through and describe it in your own words, don't simply regurgitate what you read in the ads or what your current guru has sent you. Share their expertise with your team by all means but elucidate where that is coming from if you are going to quote someone else verbatim and then back that up with your own reasons for thinking that particular communication is worthwhile so they still get an image of the real you.
Always provide several different contact methods in your communications with your team so they can use a style that suits them rather than be bound to the one that you decide.
Social networks and forums can be great ways to get yourself known and to develop relationships with people that enable you both to choose if you would like to work together before you discuss business (caveat: using a sledge hammer approach to projecting your business ends up doing little more than sending you straight to someone's 'people you most want to avoid' list..)
You need to build liking for yourself, (your brand), before you can attract the kind of people in who are going to work effectively with you, the more you give willingly and at the start, the less people request your time, reassurance and presence in order to find their own level of replication and duplication.
In conclusion then, the key to building relationships with your prospects is to develop your communication skills and to utilise to the maximum, the various technologies available to help you do this. Let yourself shine through so that people are able to approach you on a personal level. Become someone that others want to be around because you have so much to give them, share willingly and gladly the skills that you have and never stop expanding yourself. This way your brand will take care of itself and you will slowly become an expert attraction marketer.
